Cinia Expands Routing Options from Interxion Data Centers in Stockholm and Amsterdam

Cinia Oy, Finland-based designer, builder and operator of intelligent network, Cloud and Software Solution, is expanding routing options for connectivity services to reach Interxion data centers in Stockholm and Amsterdam.

Cinia Oy, Finland-based designer, builder and operator of intelligent network, Cloud and Software Solution, is expanding routing options for connectivity services to reach Interxion data centers in Stockholm and Amsterdam.

Cinia’s role as the gateway between east and west and between the Nordics and Central Europe is strengthened through the new interconnections. There is an evident increase of bandwidth demand between Europe, Russia and Asia, which is now available in Interxion Data Centers through Cinia’s Northern Digital Highway.

Cinia can offer diversity and protected routes to the international markets. Cinia’s expansion to Sweden enables new routes e.g. from Stockholm to Frankfurt, Berlin and Hamburg via C-Lion1 Hanko branch. The new routes have raised a good interest in the market.

"In today’s digital business world, connectivity, latency and direct connections with cloud services are key factors to stay competitive. With Cinia we meet the demands from Swedish and European customers to connect with Finnish businesses and their ecosystem, and at the same time we provide a strong connection to the growing Russian and Baltic digital services market", said Alexander Kehrer, Nordic sales and marketing director at Interxion.

"The Nordics is a very interesting area to many global companies. Additionally, in Finland the proximity to the large markets in the East creates attractive accessible potential. This can be reached through Cinia’s network connections providing the shortest route and lowest latency level through C-Lion1 submarine cable", says Taneli Vuorinen, Senior Vice President from Cinia Ltd.
